Music has always inspired Linda Nash to play with an open heart, so that the energy in the music is aligned to higher vibrations with other musicians & the universe itself. She's a Flutist, Vocalist & Composer leading her group in a musical journey of genre bending improvisational acoustic sound with divergent rhythms. Steeped in the tradition of Swing, it's fierce straight ahead roots with elements of Avante Garde, Bossa Nova,Orchestral, World & Blues.

Bio
Linda Nash is a flutist, vocalist, arranger and composer. She has been playing music since the age of four & sees music as the Breath of Life. She studied classical & jazz music performance at USF & Berklee College of Music. She has just released her CD, called “Sound & Light” that has trio, quartet and quintet songs performed with a group of great musicians from Tampa Bay, FL. Currently, she is writing compositions for performance with her trio, The Linda Nash Trio. Which most often can be heard acoustic with flute & vocals, upright bass and guitar. As a quartet she adds one of her favorite drummers.
Highlights of her music career have been performing in Jazz Festivals with her Trio,
with The Al Downing Jazz All Stars, Bobby Enriquez, Profiles In Jazz Big Band & Slide Hampton.
